Cranial Sacral Therapy
Welcome to Joy Therapy

When people ask what I do for a living, I often pause before answering. If I simply say “RMT,” most assume I provide Swedish massage. While I am a registered massage therapist (RMT), my work extends far beyond traditional massage therapy. As a trauma-informed body therapist, I take an integrative approach that considers both the physical body and the deeper experiences that shape it.

I believe that our bodies hold an innate intelligence. Every experience, adversity, trauma, or injury from birth to the present moment leaves an imprint on our tissues. By unfolding and releasing these deep-held patterns, we open the door to healing, recovery, and joy.

With over 30 years of experience, I specialize in Cranial Sacral Therapy, and integrative manual therapies, helping those experiencing chronic pain, stress, trauma, and dis-ease. My foundation in anatomy and physiology allows me to assess the body with a comprehensive lens, but true healing isn’t just about relieving muscle tension—it’s about listening to the body, understanding its needs, and addressing the imprints left by life’s experiences.
Why Joy Therapy?
I named my practice Joy Therapy for two reasons. First, my middle name is Joy. Second, I believe joy carries a powerful vibration—one that has the potential to heal on many levels.

I look forward to working with you.
